Nelba's new appearance

Although I liked my original appearance, I have chosen a different one made up of different freebies I have found: long hair in a pony tail - I can change its colour according to my mood or clothes, Rayban glasses - I liked this because glasses are my virtual make-up (taking Marta Minujin's words) and lovely high-heeled shoes which I cannot wear in real life.

I could not believe my eyes when after been teleported, I found myself in space.

To do any building in Second Life you either need a premium account and buy some land, or have access to a sandbox.

A sandbox is an area of Second Life where you can build objects without having to own any land. You can find sandboxes by searching for "sandbox" in the Places search in Second Life (but make sure they allow you to run scripts, not all do).

FIRST WEEK, FIRST POST

I am very happy with the possibility of participating at MUVEnation08, meeting colleagues from all over the world (I know some of them already : Dafne, Nergiz, Antonella) and learning about this wonderful tool : Second Life which caught my attention last year after having read an article about it.

I am quite familiar with ICT tools because I have always been a computing fan.

Actually, I feel like Colón when he met a "new" land and I am anxious to go on exploring it. I am absolute a pioneer in my organization where some collegues do not have even a mail account -yes, believe it or not. Very sad - and even in Argentina.
